Who We Are
Nigerian Women in the UK (NWIU), CIC, founded in 2019, is a community interest company committed to connecting, informing, and supporting Nigerian women living in the UK. Our platform serves as a vital resource for women, helping them integrate into British society while retaining their Nigerian heritage. With over 15,000 members growing daily, we offer professional, social, and emotional support through various programs and events that promote personal and professional growth.

1. Career Development Workshops
We hosted over 30 career sessions with a focus on CV writing, job applications, and interview skills. One such workshop, “How to Break into the Tech Industry,” led by Modupe Yusuf, saw participation of 100 women.
2. Health and Wellness Initiatives
Over 20 wellness webinars covering topics such as mental health, fitness, and meditation have supported our members’ well-being .
